Safe to say this winter has been doing the most when it comes to wind chill, snow volume and icy drives. It has felt a bit like Elsa has come to visit, but without the Disney magic. If you’re not the outdoorsy type and you’ve spent most of the last two months streaming your comfort shows on weekends, keep reading, this article is for you.
As a fellow hibernator, I am here to offer suggestions on things to get you out of your house this winter in Downtown Kingston. To shake it up, shopping and dining aren’t included - just experiences!
Check out the list below for a variety of things to do indoors in the hub of Kingston (many budget-friendly options listed!):

Movement
Studio 330: I recently learned from a helpful Instagram follower that Studio 330 does free yoga classes every Thursday afternoon! Going outside, getting active and not spending any money? Talk about a new year’s resolution trinity of goals. - 339 Barrie St.
Morro: Feel the burn with a reformer pilates class or heat up in one of their hot yoga or Pilates classes. - 27 Princess St. (Ontario St.entrance).

Practice or Learn a New Skill
Wild Bobbin’ Sewing Classes: Sewing is such a wonderful life skill and can feel very intimidating, but Wild Bobbin’ is a safe space to lean into this new skill. They offer different lessons that are varied in levels of expertise - 182 Wellington Street.

Glow Spa: My favourite part of a visit to Glow is starting my visit with the steam room, sauna, hot tub, cold plunge circuit and then lying down for an hour-long facial. Pure bliss! - 234 Princess St.
