Beat the Winter Blues: Indoor Activities & Experiences in Downtown Kingston

Safe to say this winter has been doing the most when it comes to wind chill, snow volume and icy drives. It has felt a bit like Elsa has come to visit, but without the Disney magic. If you’re not the outdoorsy type and you’ve spent most of the last two months streaming your comfort shows on weekends, keep reading, this article is for you.

As a fellow hibernator, I am here to offer suggestions on things to get you out of your house this winter in Downtown Kingston. To shake it up, shopping and dining aren’t included - just experiences!

Family Fun

Studio 330: I recently learned from a helpful Instagram follower that Studio 330 does free yoga classes every Thursday afternoon! Going outside, getting active and not spending any money? Talk about a new year’s resolution trinity of goals. - 339 Barrie St.

Relax and Unwind

Belvedere Bathhouse: Once you step into this sacred space, you will forget we’re still deep in the winter season. This perfect circuit of sauna, hot tub and cold plunge with moments of rest in between will have you floating home with no care in the world. - 141 King St E.
