- Take Transit: Kingston Transit has adjusted service for reliable travel during closures, with a new Route 60 starting May 5 on weekends, running over the Waaban Crossing to Fort Henry via Highway 15; use the Transit App or Trip Planner for real-time info.
- Adjust Travel Plans: Avoid peak traffic (7 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.) when possible, and consider alternate routes like Highway 401, Division St., or Sir John A. Macdonald Blvd.
- Carpool: Carpool if you can and use Kingston’s six free Park and Ride locations to help reduce traffic.
