Santa is trading the North Pole for Springer Market Square on three Saturdays this December: Dec. 5, 12 and 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Don’t forget your wish list!

Santa will be settled in at Springer Market Square, 1 Market St., in the heart of downtown Kingston. Look for the Star Bench and you’ll find him!

Yes! Visits and photos with Santa are totally free. After you’ve shared your wish list, hop aboard the horse-drawn wagon for a free, cozy ride.

Yes, please bring your own phone or camera. One of Santa’s elves will be on hand to take the photo for you, so the whole family can be in the picture.

There’s no official time limit, but Santa has plenty of friends to see before Christmas! We kindly ask that you keep visits brief and be mindful of the families waiting in line, so everyone gets their turn with Santa.

Yes! Santa loves dogs, and four-legged family members are welcome to visit. We just ask that pups be on their best behaviour and have clean paws to keep the Star Bench and Santa’s suit looking merry and bright.

The horse-drawn wagon will be making its rounds from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on each Santa Saturday, so you can hop aboard before or after your visit with Santa.

Yes. Public washrooms are located underneath City Hall, just steps from Santa’s spot in the square.

The holiday fun starts before Santa Saturdays! 

On Friday, Nov. 13, Festive Friday turns downtown into a magical night of holiday shopping, with festive deals and giveaways in local shops. 

Then join us for the Nighttime Santa Parade & Tree Lighting on Saturday, Nov. 21. The parade travels along Princess St. starting at 5 p.m., and Santa lights the tree in Springer Market Square at approximately 7 p.m.
