Our humans are always dragging us around while they shop, so this is our chance for payback. The moment we get close to the store, we take over navigation duties and pull our humans right through the front door. You can smell the store from blocks away. 

The friendly staff always greet us when we arrive, and they're experts at helping our humans find exactly what we need. Whether we're looking for a new toy, healthy treats, or a special accessory, they've got us covered. 

And the best part? They usually have treats waiting for us. 

Honestly, we'd live here if it was up to us.  

After our shopping trip, it was Mom’s turn.  

We headed over to Wild Bobbin, a wonderfully pet friendly shop that welcomes dogs inside while humans browse all things sewing and mending. 

While Mom explored fabrics, books, mending stations, and accessories, I (Gemma) discovered a book called The Well Dressed Dog. Naturally, I spent some time helping Mom pick out future outfits for me. I even selected a beautiful floral fabric that I think will look fantastic with my fur. 

Of course, no visit is complete without saying hello to Breanne, the owner of Wild Bobbin, who always makes us feel welcome and never lets us leave without a treat.  

By this point, all that shopping had us ready for an important item on every dog's itinerary: 

A bathroom break. 

We made our way through Confederation Park, stopping to sniff every interesting scent along the way. There were lots of fellow pups enjoying the sunshine, families relaxing by the waterfront, and plenty of ducks and goslings to admire from a respectful distance. 

Mom also insisted on taking approximately 147 photos of us for Instagram. We cooperated because we are professionals. 

After our photoshoot, we followed the waterfront path toward our lunch destination.  

Lunch time! We scored a prime table on The Merchant Tap House patio and immediately knew we were in for a treat. The staff welcomed us with a fresh bowl of water and even brought us a comfy dog bed. Now that's what we call first class service. 

Then came the really important decision: what to order from the Patio Pups Menu. After careful consideration of all our options, we chose the Beef Hound Ale to quench our thirst after a busy morning and the Pup Patty Cheeseburger. Let's just say the cheeseburger disappeared so quickly it may have broken a world record. 

One thing we love about dining here is that 75 cents from every dog meal purchased is donated to the Kingston Humane Society. Great food and helping local animals? That's a win in our books.
