Hello fellow theatre kids! In case you didn't already know, the Kingston Grand Theatre is our home away from home here in the city. This charming historic theatre is one of the Kingston's best performing arts spaces, and this year they have an insanely good 2026-2027 season that any true theatre buff has to check out.
Kicking off its 40-show season in October, Grand OnStage offers intimate evenings with singer-songwriters, thrilling circus, side-splitting comedy, and shows that bring the audience in on the action.

Join three incredible artists for one intimate evening of story and song.
Celeigh Cardinal (Cree), Mimi O'Bonsawin (Abenaki), and Lacey Hill (Oneida/Mohawk) will share the stage for a moving performance that weaves their voices, stories, and songs into a shared circle of strength. Rooted in their distinct Nations and musical styles, listen as these artists carry the songs of their ancestors, their homelands, and their own lived experience as women, culture bearers, and changemakers.
The performance will move between collaborative songs and individual spotlights, so you can take in each artist's unique voice, story, and spirit.
Through soaring harmonies, honest storytelling, and deep reverence for tradition, She Carries the Song invites you to witness both a celebration and a reclamation.
