Mark your calendars for the first movie night on July 3rd with special op screenings on June 5th and June 19th.
Thursday nights throughout the summer, Springer Market Square is transformed into an outdoor movie theatre, with films projected on a giant inflatable screen. Bring your friends and family, grab a blanket or lawn chairs, and settle in for an unforgettable movie experience. The Movies in the Square start time is not exact. We wait for dusk for optimal viewing.

Join us on Thursday, August 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm for an evening of exciting, hands-on robotics activities before the movie:

- Robotics Demo with the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston & Area STEM & Robotics Centre: experience hands-on robotics through interactive demonstrations featuring Dash and LEGO SPIKE robots, designed to engage younger participants. Using tablets, kids will guide the robots through exciting challenges and obstacle courses, learning as you play. They will also have a robot built by a local High School Competitive Robotics Team called Machine Mavericks, weighing almost 50kg and standing at around 5 ft tall, able to complete elaborate tasks and managed with video game controllers!

The Star Lounge

The Star Lounge is a Movies in the Square reserved seating area in a prime viewing location. Relax in a comfortable inflatable lounger while you enjoy freshly popped popcorn and a cold drink. There's no better way to enjoy a movie under the stars.

A movie without popcorn is like Han without Chewie, still pretty awesome, but not epic! Freshly popped popcorn and canned drinks are availalbe to purchase at every movie. Popcorn is $2, drinks are $1. Special thank you to our drink supplier, Coke Canada Bottling - Kingston.

Not everybody loves popcorn. We are as shocked as you, but we aim to please. So, for those of you with more of a sweet tooth, cotton candy is now available for just $4!
