Once I got my things sorted and put away, I realized why they call it a "home away from home." I stayed in the corner deluxe room and with modern amenities and thoughtful touches throughout with comfort being a priority, the spacious room was giving cozy vibes with a fireplace and spectacular waterfront views on all sides of Lake Ontario.

Let me tell you, the food here is top-notch, I'm talking international flavours and locally sourced goodness all whipped up into amazing dishes by talented chefs. I highly recommend trying out their fish feature - it was next level. I enjoyed the Arctic char paired with a creamy risotto infused with shrimp and crab in a lobster bisque. And let’s not forget about the Enright Cattle Co. ribeye served with duck fat Yukon gold potatoes was also absolutely divine according to my foodie partner in crime!

And don't forget to treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail or a bite to eat at the lobby bar, The Vu Lounge - the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration or long day of meetings. Or order in some room service.

After savoring every bite of a scrumptious meal, I finally got some "me time" to unwind in the evening. I kicked back in my cozy sanctuary flipping through Netflix on the in-room TV, all while soaking in the glow of the gorgeous sunset from the sitting area. And let me tell you, when it was time to snooze away, I sank into the comfiest king size bed imaginable - seriously, it felt like dreamy on a cloud with those plush blankets and pillows. Pure bliss!

As my time at the Delta drew to a close, I was greeted by the most stunning sunrise on display over Confederation Harbour and the Royal Military College just across the water. With excitement brewing for the day ahead, I made my way to AquaTerra to catch up with a friend over breakfast. Opting for their Traditional plate, featuring Beking’s farm-fresh eggs, crispy Yukon gold potatoes, Quinn's bacon, and served with warm Pan Chancho bread, I was in for a treat. Paired with an indulgent Aqua latte, it was the ultimate fuel-up for the day ahead!
